Plot Monster Writing Contest

Good evening monsters! I hope you all are having an amazing day of reading and blogging.

I am so excited to announce the first ever Plot Monster Writing Contest! Next month Plot Monster will celebrate it’s one year anniversary and in honor of this awesome milestone I am hosting a short story contest.

So, first the rules:

1. Each entry must be 3,000 words or less.
2. You may enter more than one submission.
3. The contest is open to contestants within the U.S and international contestants as well.
4. You must put your country of origin on the submission.
5. You must be the author of your submission.
6. Entries must be original stories that have not been published elsewhere.
7. Entries may not contain scenes with graphic sexual content.
8. Mailing address and email address must be submitted with entry.
9. Entries may be received between 12 a.m. (CST) on August 1st – 12 a.m. (CST) August 31st.
10. Void where prohibited by law.
11. Winners will be notified via email.
12. Winners agree to receive prizes via electronic resources.
13. Judges decisions are final.
14. I reserve the right to make changes to this contest as necessary.
15. By entering, contestants agree to these terms and conditions.

Awards:

1. There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awarded.
2. Some entries may receive honorable mention.

The Winners will receive:

1. Publication of their short story on Plot Monster.
2. $50 Amazon gift card for the author’s country of origin. (1st place only)
3. $30 Amazon gift card for the author’s country of origin. (2nd place only)
4. $20 Amazon gift card for the author’s country of origin. (3rd place only)

Winners will be announced on or around October 1, 2018.
